I take my serotonin with a shot of chocolate milk. I don't wanna feel depressed - I just wanna feel chill. There are inhibitors inhabiting the synapses inside my lapsing mind. I've learned my lines. Repeat, and reach completion: "everything is fine".

I must confess that my happiness is fanning burners on the barbecue stewing my youth. It's useless to compute the future. My guilty thoughts are giving me pause, but I push through 'em. The hardest truths, learned in my youth: it's useless to compute.

I take my serotonin with a glass of water, now. I don't feel quite as depressed but I'm still trying to feel proud of all the things I get to do and say, and how privileged I am to be alive. Oh, what a time, repeat 'til you believe it: "everything is fine."
